It's a girl! Saturday morning we got a phone call at 8am from Karen informing us that Susan had gone into labour earlier that morning. I was getting my grad photos done at 8:30 so we went ahead and did that. I figured that since Susan wasn't induced this time that we might have a longer wait for baby to arrive. We were leaving Westbank after the pictures at 10:00 and Greg was on the phone saying "It's a Girl? It's a Girl?". Later that afternoon the family went down to visit Susan and the baby.
Ava Lily
was born at 9:50am on Saturday May 19 weighing in at 7 lbs 10 ozs. She is absolutely beautiful! Kynan was such a good big brother and was the first person to hold her. Susan asked him "is this our baby?" Kynan said "uh huh", Susan said "are we going to take her home with us?" and Kynan nodded his head.

Susan looked really relaxed and happy, not like she had just given birth. Way to go Susan, you make it look so wonderful and easy lol
(I don't doubt that it wasn't easy but you still make it look that way).
That beautiful bright quilt Ava is lying on is the quilt that Karen has been working on for the last nine months, looks awesome Karen, good job!
Congratulations Susan, Dana, and Kynan, Ava is a wonderful addition to your growing family.
